My clients
I work with highly insightful women and members of the LGBTQ+ community who, despite their best efforts, feel stuck.
Often admired for their competence and charisma. It may not be apparent they've overcome early trauma, abuse, or emotional neglect.
They struggle privately with overthinking and intense feelings like fear, anger, guilt, and shame.
Dynamics with romantic partners, family members, colleagues, or friends are painful and confusing, with responsivity giving way to reactivity.
It can be hard to feel safe, and coping mechanisms like perfectionism, control, avoidance, and self-criticism sabotage intimacy and inner-peace.
Intelligent and introspective, my clients know there's more to life than survival; they're committed to self-actualization.
You may be…
Holding it together day to day, but unravelling in your relationships
Drawn to people who feel familiar, even when they hurt you
Getting hijacked by your reactions in the moments that matter most
Losing your sense of self when you get close to someone
Pushing your needs aside to keep from being rejected
Staying longer than you want to because leaving feels unbearable
You are not alone–we can work through this together

When I’m not the right fit:
Your path in therapy is unique, and it may call for an approach outside of what I offer. There are practitioners with specialized expertise in every area of mental health. If your needs fall outside my scope, I’ll be happy to help connect you with someone who can better support you. At this time, I do not provide:
Therapy for children, adolescents, families, or couples/groups
Treatment for active substance use disorders requiring stabilization
Treatment for active eating disorders requiring multidisciplinary support
Coaching/treatment focused primarily on executive functioning difficulties
Because my approach is relational, with a strong focus on alliance and emotional attunement, I also don’t offer strictly skills-based, short-term, or intermittent therapy. I assess fit based on a commitment to depth-oriented work, and ask that my clients attend weekly appointments consistently.
